KEITH R. PALLO

Mr. Pallo is the founding member of Pallo, Marks & Hernandez, P.A. Prior to that, Mr. Pallo was the partner in charge of the workers compensation department at Adams, Coogler, Watson and Merkel, P.A. He is a graduate of the University of Miami, where he received both his Bachelor of Business Administration (cum laude) and his Juris Doctor degrees. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982, Mr. Pallo concentrates his practice in the area of defense of employers, carriers, self insurers and third party administrators in workers compensation matters. Mr. Pallo has been nominated by the Law and Leading Attorneys as one of the top 5% of workers compensation practitioners in the state of Florida.

He is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Sarasota-Bradenton Claims Association, the Friends of 440, the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Workers Compensation Section of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and Stirling Whos Who. He is a frequent lecturer to insurance companies, claims associations and lawyers on various issues of workers compensation law.

Mr. Pallo, the father of five children, is active in church and civic affairs and is a charter member of the Jupiter-Tequesta Jaycees. He occasionally attempts to play golf, scuba dive and snow ski. His interests also include professional and collegiate sports, reading and spending time with his family.

JEFFREY L. MARKS

Mr. Marks received his Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication, with Honors, from the University of Florida in 1990. He received his Juris Doctor degree, with Honors, from the University of Florida College of Law in 1993. While in law school, he was a member of the Trial Competition Team and received the Book Award for Workers Compensation and Employment Rights.

Since his admission to the Florida Bar in 1993, Mr. Marks has practiced exclusively in the areas of workers compensation and personal injury. Mr. Marks currently concentrates his practice in the area of workers compensation defense. He is certified by the State of Florida to lecture adjusters for continuing education credits.

Mr. Marks is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Sarasota-Bradenton Claims Association, the American Bar Association, and the Workers Compensation Section of the Florida Bar.

Mr. Marks is the father of two children. His interests include reading, professional and collegiate sports and spending time with his family.

CARLOS J. HERNANDEZ

Carlos J. Hernandez was born in Cuba and after living in Madrid, Spain, immigrated to the United States in 1974. He has resided in Southern Florida since 1978 and works in the firms Palm Beach Gardens office.

Mr. Hernandez received his Associate of Arts degree in 1987 from Palm Beach Community College and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1989 from the University of Florida. Thereafter, he attended Nova University, Shepard Broad Law Center and received his Juris Doctor Degree in 1993. Mr. Hernandez was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year.

Over the last decade, Mr. Hernandez has practiced exclusively in the area of Workers Compensation Law, concentrating on the defense of employers, carriers, self-insurers, and third-party administrators. He has also conducted various seminars on workers compensation issues.

Mr. Hernandez is a member of the Workers Compensation Section of the Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Sarasota Claims Association, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Hernandez is fluent in Spanish.

His interests include hunting, fishing and golfing.
