The roots for Pallo, Marks & Hernandez, P.A. began
in 1997 when founding partner, Keith R. Pallo,
determined that the needs of the firm's defense
clients would be best served by the formation of a
firm which specialized in the representation of workers’
compensation, insurance carriers and their insured,
self-insured groups, third party administrators and
governmental agencies.
Due to the successful initiation of its growth strategy,
combined with a reputation
for providing clients with
quality, cost-effective representation, the firm quickly
grew and within 5 years of opening its doors, has tripled
in size and locations, and has expanded its areas of practice to include medical malpractice, personal injury,
insurance coverage issues, and labor and employment
issues.
Keith R. Pallo has practiced personal injury and workers'
compensation law in South Florida since 1982. Mr. Pallo
is a member of Sterling's "Who's Who" and has been
nominated by the Leading American Attorneys in its
inaugural year in Florida, as one of the top 5% of workers' compensation practitioners in the state of Florida. Mr. Pallo
has also been recognized as an expert in the area of
occupational and environmental claims. He travels the
state on behalf of employers, carriers, servicing agents,
third party administrators and insured to successfully
represent their interests. Both he and the firm are A.V.
rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Jeffrey Marks provides the Yin to Mr. Pallo's Yang. A calm,
knowledgeable and resourceful litigator and negotiator,
Mr. Marks expertly negotiates the many pitfalls and traps
associated with workers' compensation to artfully extricate
his clients from the most awkward of situations. Mr. Marks
has the unique ability, unlike many of his opponents, to see
through the smoke and haze of litigation so as to bring matters
to a conclusion with the least amount of financial pain to the client.
Carlos J. Hernandez has practiced workers' compensation law
exclusively since 1993. His litigation style represents a blending
of aggressiveness and quiet steadfastness. Mr. Hernandez's
expertise lies in negotiating pending claims expeditiously and
from a position of strength. Mr. Hernandez is an aggressive
litigator with a strong litigation background and serves as a mentor to the younger associates in the firm.
